I was notified of a nomination in February, but let me tell you honestly, I didn’t think it was real at first. But then they asked me to fill in some information for a panel review and if you know me, sometimes I like to troll the trolls.

So I replied and supplied the information and lo and behold…

This was no troll. True to their timelines they announced the winners in March and I woke up one morning groggy and pleasantly surprised by an email announcement.

More than that, I’m beyond honoured. I began wedding coordinating just over a decade ago. It started as a way to help at a friend’s wedding, which turned into bridesmaid duties, which then turned into full blown honest-to-goodness wedding planning.

And it wasn’t my wedding.

I’ve met wonderful couples and since then, slowly turning what I love into a more permanent gig. I remain a small company so that I can better serve my clients by working one-on-one with each one. And that remains my guiding point in my business.
